Comparison of Dance Music
Sigma- Nobody To Love Vs Tiesto- Red Lights
Both videos are fairly similar as they have the same idea of locations, and the idea of male gaze. The camera focuses on the bodies of the women more so than the shot, using shots that were filmed from hip height. Which could arguably be seen to be objectifying women. Both videos target males and females, both for different reasons, the male audience would stereo-typically be drawn to the way women are presented in the way they look and dress, however, the video would appeal to women as they may feel a sense of admiration for their lives, the travelling and how good they look etc.
Both videos are full of colour, used to add to add to the idea that they have good lives and they're enjoying themselves with the little money they have, possibly implying that money is not needed to have a good time.
